This exclusive girls school in West London is seeking a warm and approachable Receptionist and Attendance Officer, with a solid administrative background  – to act as first point of contact for all who visit.

This position truly sets the tone for people’s first impressions of the school, therefore requires an immaculately presented candidate, with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, and exceptional written and spoken English.

Whilst a term-time role (+ 10 days during during summer holidays), there are occasions when flexibility is required due to events and fixtures.

Prior schools and iSAMS experience is beneficial, but not essential.

Hours:10am-6pm Mon-Thurs, 10am-5pm Friday; 1 hour lunch break

Based: Office

Salary: up to £30k take home

Duties include but are not limited to:


  • To serve as the first point of contact for to all visitors, phone inquiries, families and staff.
  • School Calendar and Diary – collate the termly printed school calendar and arrange for its printing and distribution; manage the electronic School Diary ensuring that it is a complete and accurate record of all school activities events, fixtures, and trips.
  • Event and Meeting Management – Overview of all school events and meetings and delegate responsibilities to other members of the team where appropriate. E.g. catering, room layout, and sending invitations.
  • Manage the iSAMS system recording pupil rollover, and maintain pupil uniform lists.
  • General administration – provide support to the academic team and answer day-to-day queries from parents and other third parties.
  • Assist with the Duke of Edinburgh scheme.
  • Information Management – keep all pupil records up to date on the school’s MIS; ensure that the leadership team has up-to-date information for staff individual timetables, class timetables, and all parent contact information; validate information as necessary.
