Mayfair, London | Hybrid Working (3 days office / 2 wfh) | 12-Month FTC (Maternity Cover)

An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join a highly respected Wealth Management firm in the heart of Mayfair as a Portfolio Administrator on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This hybrid role offers an excellent opportunity for an organised and proactive administrator looking to further develop their career within investment and wealth management.

Working within the firm's Fund Research team, you will provide vital administrative support to Portfolio Managers, helping to ensure the smooth day-to-day management of client portfolios and investment operations. This is a varied and fast-paced position offering exposure to investment management, client reporting and portfolio administration within a collaborative and professional environment.

The successful candidate will have previous administration experience, ideally gained within wealth management, investment management or financial services. You will be highly organised, detail-oriented and confident managing multiple priorities within a busy professional environment.

As Portfolio Administrator, you will play a key role in supporting the investment team with accurate administration, reporting and operational processes. You will work closely with Portfolio Managers and internal stakeholders to ensure client portfolios are administered efficiently while maintaining the highest levels of accuracy and client service.

Ideally, you will already hold, or be working towards, the CISI Level 3 UK Financial Regulation qualification, although this is not essential.

You will also have:

  • Previous administration experience, ideally within financial services or wealth management.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative approach with the ability to build strong working relationships.
  • The ability to prioritise competing workloads and meet deadlines.

 

Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Onboard new clients and accurately establish investment accounts.
  • Monitor cash transactions and support investment trade execution.
  • Respond to internal team enquiries and liaise with Portfolio Managers and Investment Managers.
  • Produce client reports, investment presentations and portfolio documentation.
  • Assist with portfolio reporting and quarterly fee processing.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure regulatory and operational procedures are followed.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Fund Research and Investment teams.
  • Assist with ad hoc projects and operational improvements as required.
